Full Body Deep Relaxation is my most popular form of massage. It focuses on relieving stress and releasing tension. It is tailored to your needs and can involve components of other forms of massage listed in this section, at your request. Prices do not include tax.
Sports Massage is a type of massage designed for highly active people who engage in athletics. I have worked with clients in various athletic backgrounds and with many related issues. Engaging in sports is harsh on the body and can often lead to injuries in both the short and long term. Sports Massage enhances performance and prolongs a sports career by helping to prevent injury, reduce pains and swelling in the body, relax the mind, increase flexibility, and dramatically improve recovery rates. Sports Massage is also highly effective in aiding the rapid recovery of an athlete from an injury by encouraging greater kinesthetic awareness and in turn promoting the body's natural immune function. Deep Tissue Massage is a form of bodywork that aims to relieve tension in the deeper layers of tissue in the body. Deep Tissue Massage is a highly effective method for releasing chronic stress areas due to misalignment, repetitive motions, and past lingering injuries. Due to the nature of the deep tissue work, open communication during the session is crucial to make sure you don't get too uncomfortable. Keep in mind that soreness is pretty common after the treatment, and that plenty of water should be ingested to aid with the flushing and removal of toxins that will have been released from the deep tissue during the session. Pregnancy Massage is a style of bodywork designed specifically for pregnant women. Pregnancy is a time when a woman's body endures tremendous stress due to dramatic physical and emotional changes. Using various techniques specially developed for the expecting mother, Pregnancy Massage helps release the pain and discomfort experienced throughout pregnancy. The benefits are profound, including emotional support, the relief of joint pain due to extra weight and postural imbalance, and improved breathing and relaxation. I feel the blessings and joy of being a part of the massage therapy world most when offering my services during this special time. Prices do not include tax.
Infant Massage was my favorite daily time spent with my own children, and I believe that it has contributed to the fact that massage is still a strong component of our adult relationships. I hope to share the techniques with you and your infant! It is a style of bodywork designed specifically to promote the healthy development of your infant. Caring human touch is crucial for a healthy thriving baby, and the benefits of massaging your infant are potent and numerous. For example, many infants show improved growth and development of the brain and nervous system. I feel that it helped my children tremendously in this way. Infant massage has also been shown to improve the quality of a baby's sleep, as well as strengthening their immune system.
The massage will be performed on my Thai massage mat on the floor, unless otherwise requested. The actual hands-on time is usually 10-15 minutes, often broken up into several mini "sessions", depending on your infant's needs. Regardless of the time spent in actual massage of your infant during the session, however, you will learn all the tools and techniques to massage your own infant successfully.
Session comes with massage oil for your infant that you can bring home with you to start your at-home massages! Price does not includes tax.
Geriatric massage is a form of massage designed to meet the specific needs of the elderly. It helps to improve blood circulation, relieve pain, and also increase range of motion. If you are elderly, geriatric massage can help you maintain and improve your overall health, as well as regain certain physical functions that have been reduced due to aging. In addition, receiving more physical touch can especially help elderly clients alleviate symptoms of loneliness or depression.
I currently work in a facility that is handicapped accessible. Prices do not includes tax.

Hot Stone Therapy is a style of massage where heated stones are placed at specific sites on your body to deepen relaxation and promote circulation in your muscles. Muscles that are heated with these stones release tension and stress much more deeply and quickly than with a traditional massage. The overall experience is very relaxing, nurturing, and rejuvenating. At your request in advance, I can integrate hot stone therapy into your massage at no extra charge. I usually use the stones minimally, and for a brief time, to help begin easing tension in localized areas that could greatly benefit from this modality.
Thai-Yoga Bodywork and SunDo massage are similar forms of bodywork, and I utilize training from both modalities into your session. Although traditional Thai-Yoga Bodywork and SunDo massage are performed on a Thai massage mat, I utilize my mat training to offer enhancement to your table session. This bodywork is more energizing and rigorous than most other forms of massage therapy. The effects of the stretching and movement sequences can last for days, and it will help you release stress and relieve pain, bringing calmness and clarity, and rejuvenation.
I am a certified Thai-Yoga Bodyworker, and I have been performing SunDo massage for over 15 years. Read more about my SunDo training and classes by clicking on my "Feeling Good is the Chi" tab.
Individuals with sensory sensitivities, including those on the Autism spectrum, can greatly benefit from massage. I have over two decades of experience offering massage to improve tactile issues, in particular. I have found that it is of great value in helping individuals feel more comfortable in their own bodies. If you or someone you love falls into this category, you may want to consider massage. By leaning into those sensitivities, with each massage session, taking great care, I help foster sensitivity as a gift, rather than a deficit.
